Eleven Governor spots up for grabs - getting fully back to work or not may have profound impact?

Yes.

The impression i get from Fauci is that we should keep on keeping on,what we are doing, till a vaccine is available. That would take a year probably.

I donā€™t see much in there to counter the impression i get following many many briefing on the tube.

Mr negativity in that article as well.

Dr. Fauci has repeatedly said the POTUS listens to him. Everyone in the know clearly appreciates how the Constitution and laws do not give Federal Government carte blance to shut down states for a health crisis. Closing country borders are a different matterā€¦

True in this case Dr. Fauci could more easily find a hydoryxchlroquine trial for his terminally ill family member. Normally though there is not something like a hydroxychlroquine out there proven safe for many years in humans and already approved for off label use by FDA.

Obviously Fauci could get in any trial he wants. For most of us, we have to rely on the judgment of our own doctors.

My point is Dr. Fauciā€™s answer is logical being a scientist, where as the POTUS plea is more emotional charged. Both are correct. Most of us not being world class contagious disease experts would side with the POTUS if there is nothing really risked to rely on the judgment of the doctor of a family member who is terminally ill. Trump is now taking this issue on off label use to the 8 million people who watch the daily pressers himself.

No, that isnā€™t what he said. He was specifically asked about it today and said if all goes well we should have a phased restart of the economy once the worst is over.

The clinical trial he was talking about would be for the HCQ/Azythromycin combo, or plasma treatment.

Those are really the only two currently showing any promise.

He never actually says(doesnā€™t dare) it but that is the impression i have been getting from him.

He actually sounded a little different yesterday.

Yes agreed same drugs. Thanks for clarifying and sorry for not making clearer. Dr Fauci was not inclined in this hypothetical scenario of him or another family member of his in seeking an off label use via prescription by a physician outside a clinical trial.

In your opinion how did our federal govt do

He was very clear about it. Everyone needs to get off of Fauciā€™s hind end. Heā€™s doing a very good job and doing exactly what heā€™s supposed to be doing in his position.

Heā€™s a research scientist and Epidemiologist and approaches everything from that standpoint which is exactly what heā€™s supposed to do.

Itā€™s impossible for the economic and medical advisers to agree on everything because they have entirely different approaches, responsibilities and concerns.

Trump needs, open and honest input from all of them so he can make the best possible decisions for the country overall.

With different countries and New York already talking about getting antibody testing ramped upā€¦probably sometime in May things will start going back to normal. How long it takes for things to go back to fully normal will depend on how quick the deaths level off and if there is any resurgence.

Antibody testing is being rolled out nationwide right now starting with the areas hardest hit and spreading out from there.

Both the 4 and 15 minute tests can be done in virtually any clinic or ER lab or any private lab in the country.

Take a look at the data here on the 11 States whose governorship is up for grabs in November:

At 1st glance, 3 states according to the NPR.org report have already peaked. Two are blue and one is red and probably all are among the group of states being prime candidates to get back to work earlier. Add to the intrigue how Delaware being where Biden resides and Vermont although a blue state having Sanders as its Senator.

Thatā€™s because heā€™s not a mark.

With one phone call.

Heā€™s just in a position where heā€™s not going to hang his reputation over the fence until he has the data to support it. Most Docā€™s are the same way. It relieves them of a great deal of personal and professional liability.

At his level, one wrong public statement could pretty well reduce him to irrelevancy.

Heā€™s said in numerous interviews it looks promising and thatā€™s about as far as you can expect him to go till he has a wealth of hard data to support it.
