That was just my way of saying waste a lot of fuel. They actually have to put a governer like device in to prevent the electric motors from instantly going from zero to full speed, or it would burn the tires right off. Like pulling the trigger on a circular saw, from zero to five thousand rpm in less than a second.

Pulling a horse trailer is not wasting fuel.

Using the entire 1200 horsepower would be however, unless you got your trailer stuck in some deep ass mud or something. No need to use more horsepower than a regular truck and I’m not entirely sure why they have that kind of power. Hopefully it’s not fuzzy math like shop vacs that supposedly generate 6.5 horsepower from 110 volts, or air compressors that make similar bogus claims. If it says more than one and a half horsepower from a regular wall plug, it’s a lie, it’s not physically possible. They are talking about the inertia of the motor at full speed under zero load.
Natural gas is a fossil fuel. Ironically we use more natural gas than anything else as far as that goes.
Electric motors have tremendous, virtually instantaneous torque.
Too much torque for the drivetrain.
Instantaneous being the operative word, look out!
Unless it’s a Prius, lol.

You people are going to screw up the world over a freakin’ hoax.
And the worst part of it is you aren’t even going to make it cleaner.
Just because it looks cleaner doesn’t mean electricity actually is cleaner.

Either that or cause a bunch of people to get hurt for real. Like dead.
You can’t just keep screwing around with people forever.
So by ‘you people’, you mean major US auto companies, correct?

Ridiculous. They’re doing for the only reason car companies do anything. To make money.

Stop dude. They aren’t doing this to make more money. The market for these $150k F150s is going to be very limited. Nobody who needs a truck is going to pay that for one.

They have stockholders. They are doing it to make money. They see the future.

2 years! Sooner than I thought.
Oh, at least 5 or 6 years. Ford sees the financial future even better than I did.
