LOL, should be interesting to see what ends up happening. But I was only interested in what happened where I live. NYC could have elected the LIMU emu and I wouldn’t have cared.
You may have spoken about this before, and if so I apologize. I just read an article that said Jersey turned against the R’s because of the spiked tunnel project. Thoughts?
Yeah he did. Up to that point i was a big Christie fan. Then he went right to work…and lost all union support. Indianas Governor Daniels did same thing about the same time.
Lets not get crazy. Trump is still the President, and as long as he can continue to thumb his nose at the law and juducial rulings…last night really changed nothing.
I would say that had nothing to do with it, even though some suggest otherwise. I’ll give you the best reason. Chris Christie put a stop to it the first year he was in office, yet he easily got reelected. Truth is, the only people that would care about the tunnel are people that it would affect. At this point in time, it’s just those that were employed to do the job.
My guess is Hispanics and union members came out in force against the GOP. Mikie got 400k more votes than the evil rabbit did 4 years ago. Jack got 100k more votes than he did against the evil rabbit. When the voting totals are low in NJ, the republican has a shot. That wasn’t the case this time.
If you remember, Chris Christie held a special election for Booker. He had to. If he held it on the same day people were voting to reelect him, he might have lost.
