Secret government experiment to find out how people will react a la the Twilight Zone episode “The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street”? (although in that episode, it was aliens, not the government…well sorry, they remade it in 2003 and it was the government).

They need to put drone flying in high school. We need some type of drone flying sport. It’s the future of war. We should have the best flyers.

I really don’t know about drone technology to comment but my guess we should have the tech to take em out easily…since we don’t I’m thinking government is practicing.

Drones have data links. ELINT can locate and intercept/fingerprint that data link. Drones generally can’t outrun an Apache. The Apache has significant observation and targeting capability. They could observe and follow/track a drone back to its home and owner from a significant distance.
