He legal status might be relevant to school district hiring procedures. IOW, they might not know about an expungement. They might not be allowed to consider it even if they did know. I just don’t know about that stuff though.

If they are above legal age, why does that matter?

We actually don’t know what the images were that he had 20 years ago so it is all speculation.

What we do know is that the prosecutors could not prove that it was Child Pornography.

What we also see is that there hasn’t emerged a pattern of behavior over his 25 year teaching career that suggests that he is a danger to children.

I am reticent to pass judgment on someone from a charge 20 years ago that the State could not prove and was dropped and expunged and that be the only data point that is used.

If the prosecutors could not prove it was child porn then that implies they were trying to prove it which implies it appeared the people were young enough to not dismiss kiddie porn on sight. So if the people were that young that they appeared young enough to possibly be children, what the hell did perv boy BELIEVE OR HOPE he was watching? If the dirtbag is attracted to porn with people so young that’s it’s not obvious they’re adults, he’s still a sick piece of garbage pedophile. I realize such thinking involves deep, deep leaps of logic which perhaps is beyond your ability, so your defense of him is understandable.

Once again making assumptions about images none of us know the contents of.

All that we do know is that the prosecution could not prove that it was child porn and that the charges were dropped and the record was expunged.

So that means that they could not establish his guilt.

I don’t see it as fair to condemn someone for a crime that they did not commit 20 years ago. If there are other incidents that show that he is a danger to children then I would be on board… but I can’t condemn a stranger for having four images that were not proven to be child porn 20 years ago.
