Dr. Mehmet Oz spoke with Sean Hannity Monday night on the worldwide Coronavirus pandemic; saying the FDA “did the right thing” in allowing doctors to prescribe a series of drugs to help treat the deadly disease.

“Dr. Oz, you have literally been working around the clock, talking to every doctor in every country, how hopeful are you?” asked Hannity.

“We need the clinical trials, as you’ve emphasized… Over the weekend, 80 people who got the drug were no longer infectious,” said Dr. Oz. “Did it work? 80 patients, one died, one in the ICU, that result is meaningfully better than what you would have expected.”

“I think the FDA did the right thing when they allowed doctors to use this medication while we’re trying to figure out what these trials show us,” he added.
