Medical professionals say scarves protect the people that the wearer encounters to a fair degree, but they do not protect the wearer. Many states are sharing that opinion with their residents and In many communities scarves to protect others are being worn. Helps some and does not hurt, so don’t knock it.

Tommy- It seems like you’ve been wrong before about who will win an election. That’s not your strong suit.

So now let me see if I have this straight from what you’ve just posted.
This magic material that makes up scarves can prevent the viras from passing from an infected person to the air.
Yet this magic material will let the material of the virus pass the other way?

That sounds like something Dr. Fauci would say.
Maybe that scarf material has solid state diodes in it.
The scarves trap the larger droplets that one might emit without them. And reduce the distance that smaller droplets travel. So say the med professionals. That is why many communities are getting volunteers to produce them and wear them. Won’t protect the wearer so much from a non-wearer.
Cite those medical professionals, please.

Fascinating that Trumpists cling to every word Trump says as the absolute truth yet an educated man of science who is world renowned in his field is open for ridicule and scorn.
That about sums up the average
Trumpist.

I noticed that. I don’t think there is some secret they are keeping from us but more the enormity of being President during this unprecedented crisis is taking its toll.

Need groceries from time to time. Scarves and home made masks are popular at the grocers.
Enormity! That’s the word.
There is a difference between saying 3.4 percent of people who are infected will die and saying that 3.4% of cases that were reported had died. You seem like you are incapable of parsing something that simple.

Doesn’t mean they do the job, though.
Glass half empty for you? They help … a lot more than wishful thinking does.
