Dr. Harold Bornstein, who served as Donald Trump’s physician for more than three decades, says Trump dictated the glowing health letter in 2015
In case you forgot:
“His physical strength and stamina are extraordinary,” he crowed in the letter, which was released by Trump’s campaign in December 2015. “If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”
As a healthcare provider I see this as a huge ethics issue. This is the kind of “doctor” that needs to receive a letter politely notifying him that he’s no longer a “doctor”, if you get me.
The funniest park of Trump’s bodyguard and the other guy going to Trump’s doctor’s office and “seizing” Trump’s medical records is it happened 2 days after the doctor told people that Trump was using a hair growth drug, a cholesterol drug and a drug for rosacea.
AND that the doctor had some of Trump’s medical records filed under a fake name. Pseudonyms.
How many friggin fake names does our president have???
I’m an ardent Trump detractor, but I can’t for the life of me imagine what kind of HIPPA violations could occur by disclosing a patient either current or former’s medical history without their permission.
This type of thing is what I truly dislike about Trump. He lies about or exaggerates almost every single detail about his life. How are supposed to trust he is looking after the country if he lies about the most meaningless details?
I don’t believe this because there’s no way Trump would ever use the phrase “astonishingly excellent,” which is the kind of technical language I associate with physicians.
