I’m trying to imagine how much the store paid in property and other taxes, and thinking . . . “I guess the City had better, more important things to spend the money on than on police.”
One has to wonder if this is being done on purpose. The purpose being to lower property values so investors can come in and swoop them up. Then, start re-development and security so property values go up and a lot of profit is made.
Lefty Hollywood script writers, too busy smoking pot and feeling cool about themselves, write script after script after script about evil rich people degrading neighborhood in order to gentrify it. (Message: “Don’t blame the poors and the criminals. Blame corporations and the rich evil white people.”)
Eventually that becomes a stereotype, the way people think reality really works.

Either way, don’t fall for it. You are better than that.
It’s stories like this that make you think voter fraud is rampant in these cities. Who would keep voting for this? Dems solution’s fail every time they are tried. So it’s either voter fraud or massive dysfunction by dem voters…
