Remember ages and eons ago when the entire sports world and media were all over aaron rodgers and basically labeling him a killer??

Man, that was so long ago.

Yes, Omicron is an equal-opportunity infector. Your neighbor’s vaccination status is irrelevant.

You can’t get them in my state unless you are high risk. Doctors are still sending people home with nothing and telling them to wait and see if they need hospitalization.

Shrug…

But not that hard to hide a sore throat with a slight cough and inability to smell and taste

It looks like the US is moving towards “don’t ask, don’t tell”. A starting point is a lack of COVID tests:

The CDC is loosening the isolation rules for hospital workers as large numbers test positive without significant symptoms. The alternative would be to shut down or reduce services due to severe staffing shortages.

In the UK, the case-demic in hospitals appears to be driven by patients who are in the hospital for other reasons catching Omicron there. Expect similar situations in the US.

Airlines are forced to cancel flights as flight crews test positive. Are millions of holiday travelers going to get stuck because airline staff test positive?

Overall Omicron is behaving like a highly contagious cold or mild flu.

Is “don’t ask, don’t tell” already becoming the new standard whether authorities admit it or not?

And last week they were firing them

Why should any economy shut down due to symptoms like musculoskeletal pain?

Wasn’t a supporter of lock downs or separating businesses into “essential” or “inessential”. I don’t ask if anyone has or hasn’t taken advantage of vaccinations.

Don’t Ask Don’t Tell SHOULD be the policy for the NFL as even the doctor who id’d the variant doesn’t support testing without symptoms.

Should the airlines adopt the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy?

Fully vaccinated flight crews are testing positive by the truck load. Do we effectively shut down a large portion of the air system for weeks while we are waiting for crew members with little or no symptoms to return to work after testing positive?

Oh vaccined for Jesus
With boosters forever
They tell me
That I’m unclean
Without the latest jab!

Yes, jab them until they drool has become a recurring theme in the US as well:

I pledge allegiance to the shot
of the United States of Fauci
one nation under lockdown
with mandates and fear for all.

Science and mathematics are different because they contain elements of knowledge, not subject to opinion. Liberal progressives focus on fee fee and opinions.

Fauci is full of opinions, short on facts, and, loves to hear himself talk. He and One Horse Dog Faced Pony Soldier are like two peas in a pod.

Ouchie Fauci should shut the ■■■■ up. or tell us the truth about Wuhan.

I get your point, but people do it all the time. Catch a mild cold, go to work. Everyone doesn’t go get tested for Covid.

This is how they are going to avoid a disaster in the playoffs. They are simply not going to test vaccinated players that aren’t showing obvious symptoms. Good call IMO.

Jabbed in the USA
Jabbed in the USA
Mandates take your choice away
You’ll get jabbed or else in the USA!

I think so.

What exactly does testing positive tell me?

The economy should not be forced—should never have been forced in the first place—to shut down for a virus that has killed less than 2% of its sufferers.

I am one of the people who used to do this all the time pre-Covid. Sitting at my desk, sneezing and coughing through the work day, and go to social events as well.

I would definitely not do this now and I think many others would also be more careful.

I’ve been told by those who want to mandate vaccines/masks/shutdowns that there’ll be none of that “at your own risk” stuff.

I think it would still depend on the consequences for not going to work. I’m lucky, I don’t have to go to work sick, ever. Hell, I call out when it snows. Others are not so fortunate.

We’ve been working remote since March 2020 and looks like it’ll continue in perpetuity. Most of our office space has already been subleased.

Used to hate WFH but now I’m used to it , great flexibility especially cause I can travel and work .
