A landslide is generally considered to be winning the vote by more than five percent.

California isn’t the only place where democrats live. As a matter a fact, there are more Republican voters in CA than like 10 Midwest and southern red states, combined.

Unless you are also saying that California Republicans are nuts too

Biden will win the popular vote by 5% or more.

EC is still up in the air

Mmmmm. For not running the libs to NYC…

I expect Biden will take the popular vote by eight to nine percent. Ronald Reagan in ‘80 territory.

The other day I was doing some research on what a landslide is and could not find a definition. But I agree with you that a 5% win is pretty conclusive.

I hope it’s 500%

There’s no objective definition. But political ops consider more than five percent a definitive ass whipping.

You are voting for a NE coast snob.

I heard a political taking head say that the closer you are to double digits in any state will take away the loss of the EC. He also said that 10 points or more pretty much guarantee that you will win the state.

Interesting. I didn’t know the info in that article.

So what is the solution? Should Presidents be selected by popular vote or by the Electoral College, or by some other system?

The best thing about this pic is that the interior designer was definitely told to mimic the Palace of Versailles.

The constitution is pretty clear on the subject, so barring an amendment, EC it is.

Watching Trump in VA HQ and he’s tired and cordial, thanking staff and giving them their due. If this were 10 hours from now it would be a good concession speech.

Agree. That kind of talk is frivolous.

Going to be very close, either way.

That was my point. We need an amendment to fix this. Should have happened a long time ago.
