Just like it says in the bible. You bet.
I wasn’t equating anything to anything…I said Jesus…we create or revise about 10 policies a year based on several different reasons.
We currently are working toward changing our cell phone policy as well…are we discriminating against cell phone users…or are we trying to protect the developmentally disabled individuals our staff are supposed to be supervising? You tell me.

The thing is … in this case the company didn’t change. The guy changed, and wanted the company to change with him.

Love to stay and chat some more about this…but I have to go rewrite some company Policies…

The guy wasn’t going through a change in “gender identity” when he hired on.
He changed, and expected the company to change with him.
Sounds like somebody needs to go back to Sunday school.
If only it were legal to bar employment based on gender identity.

Get your Sunday school teacher to explain it to you.
Cute.
Weren’t you claiming to be a lawyer in another thread? Do I need to explain what a lawyer is?

There’s nothing cute about it, you obviously don’t understand it.
Yes, I am a lawyer. If you need legal assistance, PM me for an appointment.
You seem very agitated about this dress thing, why?
The question is why aren’t you? Aren’t we supposed to be about personal liberty? What difference does it make whether a woman wears a skirt or pants if she’s doing a job? Because the employer gets a hair up his ass and decides they’re going to decree otherwise and it must therefore be so?
We’ve decided to implement a bike to work only policy going forward due to global warming. You live more than ten miles from work? Too bad. So sad. There’s the door.

Yes, I am. In this case the personal freedom from government intrusion into a private sector business.
The employer owns the business, he can get a hair about whatever he wants. The other person is an employee, not a partner, not a co-owner.
This is a business, not a democracy nor a debate society.
Follow the rules or move along.

It seems as though someone had a recent rule change at work and didn’t get to vote on it. Wonder what it could be?
I’m guessing something about cell phones.
Seeking redress for a grievance from the government via the remedy prescribed under Article III of the Constitution is now government intrusion into the private sector. Man I love this place.

Well Evil Knievel, that was quite a leap. Because he seeks to wear a re-dress doesn’t mean she should have her desired outcome.
Since you’ve resorted to speaking gibberish I can only assume you’re admitting defeat. Well done.
As i said more than 100 posts ago. A life long friend runs a funeral business. He definitely has a dress code for the men and women who work publically in the home. He wants people to dress and behave with the grieving families in mind. Not one time in the week it took to plan my dads funeral…not once did we see Michelle my friends assistant in anything bit skirt and blazer. Or the men in suits and ties. It is about creating a standard professional and disposable environment.
Have any of the women who work there now…and there are three or four in the same area…complained about the policy, refused to wear skirts? I wonder why others haven’t come forward to complain about mistreatment?
