It appears the referral was made back in February at the conclusion of the IG’s investigation into McCabe. The fact they have not filed charges yet leads me to believe you are right. But I’m on the record saying that is hogwash. If he broke the law, charge him and prosecute him to the fullest. What is Sessions doing here?

Good question. I think they don’t want to start a pattern of prosecuting their own.
Take Comey for example. He’s going around flaunting himself knowing they aren’t going to do anything to him.

Is Sessions now “one of their own?” It is not as if he was a career DOJ official or anything. If he is unwilling to prosecute those who break the law, just because they were part of the DOJ, then what purpose is he serving? And why would Trump leave him in his role, if he abdicates one of his most important obligations?
Look who’s advising him within CoJ. I mean if you have Rod “The Weasel” Rosenstein giving him advice then of course nothing will happen.

I think you’ll see this whole Rooskie thing wrapped up pretty soon. The polls are starting to go against it, it’s not hurting Trump, and the dems are going to want to run on something else this cycle.

What has Horowitz done to have you question him? His report on McCabe seemed solid. He referred him for prosecution, which was the right move in my opinion.
As for Comey, what has he done with respect to his book release and his book tour that would constitute criminality? If you believe there is a case to be made against him that he is breaking the law, I’m open to hear it, and may well agree if it makes sense.
