I knew you wouldn’t be able to answer the question simply and showing you understand how accountability works.
Trump’s administration made the call to grant asylum.
Trump therefore is accountable for granting the asylum.
Trump does not get to retroactively blame Joe Biden for his action because at the time the grant of asylum was made, the Trump Administration was already claiming they couldn’t trust anything the Biden Administration had done with regards to border enforcement.
And who gives a ■■■■ if he’s called “vindictive” if he refuses the asylum? If his administration didn’t trust the vetting information, they should have done what was right, period.
You are rationalizing the ducking of accountability by the Trump Administration, not holding them accountable.
As such, your lectures to “the left” on accountability ring completely hollow.

Biggest example is Harris lost the election. Voters decided that based on Biden and Harris overall performance that Trump was the preferred candidate.

100,000 people in from Afghanistan alone. It’s nearly impossible to vet them all. Biden brought them in, Trump didn’t send them home. Two mistakes. Thank goodness Trump is fixing his part.

There are asylum judges who make that decision. Trump has recently been replacing (firing) many of these, especially if they were selected by the Biden administration shortly before he left. My belief is that those who have been rubber stamping asylum applications are the first to go.
Many on the left have been attacking Trump for reforming the asylum process with his own appointees. It’s refreshing to see a Democrat attacking him for not acting fast enough to be more strict in granting asylum. Keep his feet to the fire on this.
Glad to see the left now agrees more strict policies are needed before granting asylum claims.

Why is it a mistake to take in people who helped us fight in Afg. so they wouldn’t be killed by the Taliban?
If Joe Biden had his way, all of the thousands of Afghan nationals they brought here in 2021 would be citizens of the US.
The mistake was when Biden abandoned Afghanistan after the war was won and gave it back to the Taliban. He unleashed hell on them. Also, one of them just murdered a beautiful young girl and shot her partner. They were not vetted,
