It got even worse when conservatives attempted to tear down Berekely because free speech evolved into hate speech. As long as their is Fox News and Talk Radio fighting for ratings, that is not going to happen.
Fox and Talk Radio stand out by being brash and loud and exciting and unapologetic - in other words, by trolling people. And their audience likes it. And they vote.
So…that’s where we are. About 30% of the voting public gets charged up by the far right absurdities spewed by these outlets. That’s nearly they entire GOP base.

You misunderstand. Obviously no Democrat wants Venezuela. I’m simply implying that if DEMs do succeed in taking over the U.S. government, which they almost did with Hillary in 2016, Venezuela will be the eventual outcome.
