That is about all the Republican party has become because it lacks leadership to tell the base and their pundits enough
The closest person in awhile on the Republican side who showed leadership was John McCain when corrected that woman about Obama being an Arab.
It’s sad when rational thought and civility start to sound odd because they’ve been abandoned for so long.
When today’s Trumpists have completely burned down what remains of the Republican Party a new rational conservative party will rise to replace it and I can see Haley being one of it’s leading members.

I think you are going to need a third party formed from centrist Republicans and Democrats and just let the extremists play in the corners.

Yup- I just posted the same thing on the other Haley thread. She is one of the few Trump appointees who appears to be relatively untouched by Trump’s stench. And…she seems sane.

Like someone remarked in the link, Ms. Haley would do well to sell this message on the leader of her party first, and then advise the rank and file to follow suit. Party reflects leadership.
The leaders want votes to bad to tell people to stop. The first people that they would have to tell to grow up and be honest are the pundits. Those at FNC and talk radio.
When the Republican become more about real world ideas and how you win is as important as winning the maybe they can become respectable again.
