What type of independent contractor/freelancer posts this on their social media feed:

Is this how he wants his family, his friends, co-workers, children, his parents, his employers to see him?

It’s not that hard. My social media has my real name on it. I don’t have anything like this on my pages.

People need to learn what social media is.

I doubt it, you’re on the left side of history.

The firing is not interesting.

If the employer seems it worthy.

Free market and all.

You all notice why I don’t call the President names?

You all notice why I don’t care about the sexual proclivities of public figures who don’t use their moral authority as a cudgel?

But if people are so offended that the First Lady is called a name… other First Ladies have been accused of much much worse… then go… organize the posse.

Be the change.

She deserved it. Kamala doesn’t.

White males? Come on.

Please, do not put words into my keyboard that I did not type.

If record labels think their artists are offensive, it is up to them keep or fire them.

One thing I think is consistent with businesses, they are primarily here to make money.
They will make their decisions based on that.

She was an idiot and still is to this day.

Well yeah but Free Speechifyin’ and uh unequal outcomes or something.

I’m curious what a “2nd chance” in this instance would look like. This guy has been a 1099 contractor taking pictures of the Rockets players for like 30 years. Now it’s known how he thinks about who he’s covering, who are predominantly very highly paid Black athletes who make even more than their owners.

And they’re going to put this guy back into that environment? Now the players have a legitimate hostile work environment complaint.

Nope dude. You said what you said, now you gotta live with it. Full stop.

What hashtag?

Read the thread.

Did I miss him calling male basketball players whores or something? Or is calling someone a whore racist now?

Mostly depends on what is said, and how it is interpreted by the audience. (aka, market)

I’m remembering when ABC/ Disney made a big show of giving Roseanne the boot for her social media.

and remembering posters believing they shouldn’t have. But Disney wanted to.

We’re in this whacky loop where so called free market conservatives want to force businesses to host content and ideas they don’t want to.

Because it is true?

No, who said it and who they said it about.

I was on the old Hannity board for 15+ years and never once made one Talk To The Moderator complaint about how I was treated or what people were saying. Something you can’t say.

One would think, but we have millions of examples showing, the idiots.
