Well maybe this right to work environment that allows employers to fire people for whatever reason, even doing and saying things in their free time, has swung too far. Employees could band together in groups and negotiate with their employers, and they could guarantee protections that their job is not endangered for what they say or do in their free time.

They could call them something like “unions”, and they won’t have to self censor their beliefs out of worry that they’ll lose their job if the post a racist cartoon on Facebook.

I thought it was just satire and using absurdity. Liberals didn’t have an issue with it. But I do give credit for finding one. Apparently severed heads is what it takes to lose your job on the left.

This is a good point.

Would be interesting to see the intersection of these three sets:

*Those complaining about Baptist’s firing for simply “expressing his opinion”
*Those who are anti-union and say the owners of businesses should have complete say over their staff
*Those who in 2016 were telling those stories about how they were going to fire anyone with a Hillary sticker on their car.

You asked for an example…I gave it.

She was universally condemned and she pretty much hasn’t found work since.

She’s trying to make a comeback now…who knows how it will go?

What Kathy Griffin did was stupid. She shouldn’t have done it.

She has a right to do it, but she also has to be willing to face the repercussions of her actions.

Temporarily

Giving the finger to the trump motorcade has resulted in same

As I said she’s trying to make a comeback…three years later.

We shall see how it works.

Baptist was just fired. My guess is he won’t be down forever either.

Hell…OAN or maybe the Gateway Pundit or Breitbart would probably hire him right now.

As for the photographer, no, any company I ever worked for would have fired him as well.

Well, first of all there’s that.

He shouldn’t have lost his job for the same thing if he belonged to a union?

The NBA was wrong for firing him?

@JayJay

And got her elected… such harsh repercussions!

She’s working again she posted that Trump should be stabbed with an air filled syringe. Nothing as a result of that.

He worked for an NBA team. Not a player, so he was ■■■■ out of luck. He should’ve read the employee handbook.

A lot of racists are getting fired from their jobs for the things they post on social media that last several months especially. I think it’s a beautiful thing watching the Invisible Hand Of the Free Market as it turns into a fist.

I don’t understand what the problem is here. Maybe one side has a propensity for saying offensive things that get them fired then the other.

Nobody said that the photographers job loss is permanent and that he he never ever will find another job It just happened.

You asked for examples Job loss you didn’t ask for examples of exile.

I don’t disagree, although he wasn’t an employee.

I’m just wondering why all the talk about unions. Was he wronged?

Or maybe one side is fired more often because saying something racist about whites generates a fraction of the outrage doing it against other groups does.
