Not every old white person uses race to decide whether or not someone should die. You get that. Right?

You totally ditch my question and want me to instantly reply to yours? Want to try addressing the topic first? Is this a good idea?

If you are confronted by a police officer, do not resist. Be respectful. Move slowly and deliberately. Do not flee. Do not act in a threatening manner. Obey all commands. And never, ever scuffle with police. If you do these things, then your chances of being shot by an officer are as close to zero as they can possibly be. Far less than one in a million.

Then they could set up a legal fund for people who believe that they have been unjustly targeted or abused by police.

You shouldn’t be kill because you didn’t “respect” a police officer.
if police officer can’t deal with people in distress they shouldn’t be cops.
clearly either American 10x more violent then the rest of the world or the cop in America lack proper training to deal with the general public.

Sounds as if you’ve had an encounter with a LEO that may not have been to your expectations? Pray tell, what do you consider to be a “lawful command”? You’re not expected to “cower” to a police officer but you are expected to cooperate and maybe show a little respect for the badge. A police officer’s sidearm isn’t there to intimidate you, it’s for theirs and your protection. Like any profession the vast majority of Doctors, carpenters, mechanics, pilots and LEOs etc etc are good and solid at what they do. Sorry if you’ve come in contact with a bad apple?

It’s not a trick question. Good idea, or bad idea.

if police officer can’t deal with people in crisis or people in distress without shooting them

find a new job, the cashier at MacDonald have better crisis management skills.

You seem unable to grasp that most of the time the police are not dealing with calm rational people, your dealing with people in crisis or in distress if your first response is to shoot them your in the wrong line of work…

American police seem to lack proper crisis skill to deal with the general public, but then again American police are not bound to serve and protect the citizen in America.

There is a fundamental difference between policing in America and policing in Europe/Canada.
which is why there is a fundamental difference in the number of police shootings.

But American are to polarized to have an adult conversation about the nature of policing and how it can be shaped to better service the American people.

so if you feel like having an real conservation come find me.

I believe black lives matter…I have never bought into BLM. It is not helping black people in my neck of the woods.

You’re overthinking this and possibly afraid to offer a reply. I

Fear agents of the state. Assume they will murder you if you do not obey all commands without hesitation. Live in terror.

Anyway, these days I’m a white guy age 35-65 who lives in a tony part of town and wears Ralph Lauren and nice shoes. I can wild out on the cops all I want and maybe I’ll get a citation at worst, because they don’t know if if I have the juice to get them in trouble if they jack me up.

Try getting physical with one and see how far that gets you.

You certainly are a legend in your own mind.

White people in upscale neighborhoods treat cops like the help and they take it. It’s glorious.

Black Lives Matter stands for power for homosexual women of color.

No they don’t. I saw that Dave Chappell special too.
