I am not going down this path because there is a point to be made here about scaring people into being responsible that has never worked in The history of the world.

We are not discussing vicarious learning, at least I’m not. I am talking about actual consequences.

People can also throw caution to the wind. The idea that making abortion illegal will result in a more responsible society is nothing but wishful thinking. That’s all i have been trying to get across.

And yes arguing that creating responsibility will make a profound change in how people act is a really silly position. It’s a bit more than that but i don’t feel like going down that path any further

Being able to erase a baby creates less of a sense of responsibility than not-do you deny it?

No it doesn’t because you act like that decision itself isn’t one of reaponsibility or is consequence-free.

No one I know who ever made the decision to have an abortion ever took that decision lightly, nor did they suffer no consequences from making that decision.

My guess is though that there are people on the pro life side that minimize those consequences.

Well, we do have all kinds of prevention programs encouraging people not to drink and drive as the consequences can be deadly.

Perhaps a similar campaign to teach people not to drink and have unprotected sex would be appropriate.

So…all I’ve heard about from the left and the media for the last year and a half has been the absolute violence that occurred on January 6th. It was stated 6 officers were murdered, one with a fire extinguisher…all while Nancy paraded his coffin around the capitol and yet…it was all a lie. Now here “we” are on June 25th 2022 and the shoe is on the other foot. Now it’s the libs who are riled and so I ask, will they be peaceful and honor the disdain they’ve shown for what they labeled as the most violent insurrection of our nation’s history or…was it all a lie? Let me tell you how it will be answered? Just observe the actions of the left across the country. Let’s all compare what was said by the left about the right and their actions on January the 6th…to what the left does this weekend. Are they liars and hypocrites or…will they practice what they have preached for 18 months?

Here “we” are the day after and I’ve looked but the media is NOT reporting that violence, looting, arson or destruction of personal property took place last night. Is that because it’s true? Is it true that there was no violence last night or…was it another example of “mostly peaceful” and they aren’t letting the actual truth out? I hope it actually was a peaceful evening and that it remains that way but…I’m skeptical and we’ll all know in the next few days.

However, I like the slogan “where we go one, we go all,” I guess it’s like “for the children” that Democrats always use. It does mean different things to different people and obviously it’s a dog-whistle to you.
