We seriously aren’t making an effort there. There is no and never has been a WWII style assault on the place. If we treated them the way we treated the Japanese, this would have been over a long time ago. Nukes aside, they surely will use drones & guided missiles on you. How will you know who the drone operator is? They have people operating drone in the ME from Hawaii or CA.

You will have no idea who is operating it nor where they are. They could be on a ship in the middle of the ocean. This fantasy that you will be able to stop our military to “preserve your liberty” is the silliest joke gun nuts hold on to. It’s far worse than the “self protection” argument because all studies show that your weapons will most likely be used on yourself or a family member. The only thing that stops our military is lack of political will to really do what it takes to win wars anymore. Firepower and technology aren’t the problem.
