Funny, he says he’s a socialist. Even more funny, he took his honeymoon in the USSR while the cold war was on, & it was the actual communists dictators in charge. Then he took a nice vacation in tropical Cuba, while the despot Castro was in charge at the height of his brutality. But hey, don’t let any of that dissuade you!
Iv been to Cuba doesnt make me a communist
Reagan was an FDR democrat.

You really missed the point. Bernie says he is a socialist. He said that over the years, he has praised several communist dictatorships. K?

To a socialist everything is socialist, even when it’s not…
Gasp liberals want to actually fund things they ask for
Its not something cons can comprehend
Did you know Reagan was a Democrat until 1962. I don’t think so.

There should be no property taxes. A one time sales tax would be ok, but you never really own it, & a lot of poor people lose their property to taxes & become homeless. But hey, that’s ok, democrats to the rescue!

Actually I think its conservatives who are now seeing socialists everywhere.
Actual socialist parties in the US were incredibly prone to schisms and trying to drum people out of who was considered a true socialist. It was always a matter of small parties making themselves even small. Look up the Schachmanites some time for an example.

Yea…well…the democratic party is socialist. Hard left, extremist left. You just either don’t realize it or are just willfully ignorant.
You are only correct in the sense that the conservative entertainment complex has redefined socialism as a synonym for “BAD” and as a means to scare people. This has nothing to do with the actual meaning of socialism as a system in which workers control the means of production… none of the Democrats favor that and the concept of means of production is rapidly losing meaning in an information and service based economy.
“Socialism” as you use it is just meaningless name calling, necessary because the Republican Party has NO implementable policy ideas.
In the absence of policy… we end up with Chicken Little Politics – “Run for your lives, the socialists are coming.”

Liberals actually want other people to fund things they ask for. Gasp.
It’s something self supporting cons can not comprehend.
What a foolish statement.
What is it called when the government owns everything? Communism.
What is it called when the banks own everything? Capitalism.
See the difference? At least we vote for the leaders in government. When was the last time you voted for the leaders of a bank?
The Democratic Party’s policies aren’t socialist. They’re between centrist and social democrat. Actual socialists tend to be very critical of the Democratic Party.
Actually Communism is when the people own everything and there isn’t a formal government.
Sure. Because that’s exactly how the Soviet Union worked.
Right, like subsidies for farmers and deficit exploding tax cuts
