All three of those mainstream news organizations do Not lean ‘heavily’ to the left. I sometimes watch ABC World News, and I know that news program does not lean ‘heavily’ to the left.
I have a niece who is a millennia who voted for Jill Stein. Do I wish that she voted for Stein? No, but she did anyway.
When I first registered to vote, I used to vote straight Republican. But I don’t do that anymore. And I am planning to vote for my GOP Governor while voting for a Democrat to Senator this November.
Simple math:
US healthcare system: $10,000 per capita, not everyone covered
Netherlands healthcare system (or several other developed nations that are even cheaper): $5,800 per capita and everyone covered, similar or better results.

My son is 24.
He doesn’t watch any TV.
He reads The New York Times, The Boston Globe (he lives in Boston) and listens to NPR podcasts (among others.) Plus, his music.
He is extremely well informed, and certainly much more informed than any Fox News watcher and Breitbart reader or whereever you people get your “news.”
And he votes.
