Do Democrats Support Freedom for Cuba?

Yes, many Democrats believe that those ungrateful Cubans who are protesting already live in something close to socialist utopia. Here is what the author of the 1619 project had to say:

“In places that are biracial countries, Cuba actually has the least inequality,” she added.
And why is that? “That’s largely due to socialism,” Hannah-Jones claimed.

Considering the conditions in Cuba for the average person, that statement should be seen as a condemnation of socialism.

 If she knew what they are.

Well…another way to read that: everybody is more equally repressed in Cuba. Just saying.

Everyone should get 4 eggs a month. After all, why should someone be allowed to have 2 per day when some have none?

Share the misery while the elites never miss a meal.

Ah, yes. Everybody but the leadership is equally repressed. Good point.

Oppressed.

As usual, you are too clever by half, and I can’t discern your point.

But if you think my vision of utopia is Cuba, you are sorely mistaken.

Then pleeeeaaasse go to that thread and tell me your vision of Utopia.

No, I don’t agree with that. You can pry my sausage McMuffin with egg from my cold, dead fingers.

Good to know you don’t agree with it. I guess the folks in Cuba don’t either.

This is a GOLDEN opportunity just 90 miles off of our coast.

A golden opportunity for what?

Indeed…

Here’s a map

Most of the names on that map would be really happy to see some Americans show up with bags of money and ideas. Or even just a pocket of money and a need for a tan and a daiquiri.

A couple names on that map would really rather not.

Republicans: Let’s go to the ones that don’t want us, and ignore the ones that do.

Which ones?

To aid the people of Cuba to gain their freedom.

Oh. How should we do that?
