To me this would be like telling the 1st division Marine on Okinawa to cease fire because some non-combatants are being killed. Then what? That’s not how war typically works. The vanquished typically surrender to discuss terms. Then a ceasefire happens. Y’all are forgetting that Hamas could surrender right now and end this. Should they?

The anticipation of riots seems almost gleeful. What are conservatives going to do if it doesn’t pan out? The buidup and potential letdown reminds of something…but I can’t quite think of it it yet.

I will be a little disappointed if there isn’t total chaos. Unlike the libs, I don’t want anyone to die just because they disagree with me. But I’m hoping for hundreds of arrests. Hopefully a few felonies.
It is what it is. You are what you are. I’m just cautioning restraint. If it doesn’t happen, folk are likely to be let down. And that kind of emotional buildup without release is unhealthy. We see it in incels.
Expectations are really not much more than future resentments when they are unrealized.

I responded to a poster who suggested the Jew hating pro terrorist “peaceful protestors” were acting like terrorists themselves.
I have no idea what these cretins are capable of. I have no respect for asshats that tear down American flags and set them on fire.
I was a senior in HS during the 1968 DNC in Chicago when then Mayor Daley loosed the hounds and fire hoses and arrested hundreds of protesters. They got violent and attacked cops. That won’t happen here, the mayor of Chicago is a cop hater that celebrates criminals as victims. They’ll be lucky if the home grown Chicago criminal element doesn’t take advantage of the chaos and the ■■■■ show turns into a shooting gallery.
