not surprising at all.

I wonder who paid for those ads.

In an experiment, the researchers submitted 20 ads with inaccurate claims to Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.

The researchers withdrew the ads after going through the approval process, if they were approved, so the ads containing misinformation were not shown to users.

My experience?

You are correct. The things people see in their news feed are influenced by their likes and friends. But in terms of engagements (likes/shares), content like Ben Shapiro, Dan Bongino, and Breitbart are always near the top.

That’s because people like you watch them. I have never seen anyone of those.

I go with “box of hammers with a blue ‘D’ painted on the side”, but to each their own.

Because the algorithms think you like them. The more you click, the more you see.

Wait what?

@thinkingman clearly said they thought the laptop was disinfo.

But the article said they thought the emails were disinformation.

Two different things and you don’t need one thing to have the other.
