I just dont see Trump doing that because of the escalation that is likely to occur if the US directly attacks Iran. Even with air superiority there is no guarantee that it will eliminate the Iranian program.
This is one area I agree with Trump on, we cannot get involved in more military action in the ME. We have nothing to show for the last 20 odd years of directly interfering in the ME. Should Iran attack US assets thats different but right now this is between Iran and Israel.
The bigger challenge is that nuclear technology is easier and cheaper to attain than at any point since the end of WWII. It still costs a ridiculous amount but not compared to previous decades. Iran will just start up their program again.
I personally do not think there is any way for us to stop any country that is committed to having a nuclear capability. We can delay but the pandoras box is open and no way of shutting it.
The Soviet program wasn’t quite so secret, and definitely not well kept. US policy at the time was that any biological attack would be met with an immediate nuclear response.
The whole point of this exercise is to eliminate any possibility of Iran getting a nuclear weapon. Leaving Fordow intact will ensure that possibility remains. I see no scenario where Fordow is allowed to remain intact.
Projection noted. The US Navy ships ran out of missiles and went home after they lost a battle of attrition with the Houthis. That happened twice. The first time was under Biden, and Trump staged a repeat.
NATO has already sent anything it can spare to Kiev, and western missile production can’t keep up with the losses in Ukraine. The idea that the US and Israel can sustain a war of attrition in the Middle East is a fantasy.
Why are you still trying to sow that seed when it’s evident Trump played Iran? He’s very keen on the action taken by Israel. The action taken by Israel has Iran begging to negotiate a deal. Too little too late in regards to their nuclear facilities, imo.
Further negotiations will be about how Khomeini surrenders power to the Iranian people.

The whole exercise was a sneak attack based on deception, assassination, and sabotage. The apparent goal was to knock out the military command and achieve regime change in Iran.
Instead, Iran recovered and retaliated quickly, and popular support for the Iranian government has surged.
I would imagine they would try to do a surgical operation of special forces but I know ■■■■ about the military. That’s what’s floating around though they can either cave in the sites or put boots on the ground in just those areas
