I don’t know if he is it or not. But since he is on record saying bad things about our troops, there are lots of first hand witness that have heard him say similar things, and because multiple unarmed sources are saying he did (and those that didn’t hear him say “but sounds right”)
Then it seems more likely then not he said it.

But either way, he has said many worse things in record

No Tom Cotton or Lindsey Graham though.

I’m sure there are some among them that fully believe what they signed. Others are doing it for political power. And even others are doing it for the potential of political power.

I notice Tom Cotton and Lindsey Graham chose not to sign on to this letter though. According to the author of the Atlantic article, his initial reporting was only the tip of the iceberg. I’m guessing there are possibly taped recordings of Trump disparaging the military. Cotton and Graham are both pretty smart cookies. Keeping distance from Trump on this issue is intentional.
