No, it’s true. Because of what he said about McCain. He didn’t want to get his hair wet.

“James LaPorta, investigative reporter for the Associated Press, talks with Rachel Maddow about his own reporting that confirms some of the episodes described in an Atlantic article depicting Donald Trump deriding military service and injured veterans.”

That’s two. And we have a history of President Trump denigrating service members before (attacks on John McCain, insulting Gold Star families)

This dog definitely hunts

Don’t know if I’d call it status…a feeling of at least ones family has contibuted. Every male on my fathers side up to my grandfather has served…Grandhather was Navy, my three uncles were all in army in WW2, with one killed on Saipan. My Father was Navy in the 50’s -60’s, and I was Army. My mothers side I had one uncle in Army. Only son at that side.

(My father was a whoops…lol, 20 years between him and next brother, hence the later service dates)

Congratulations. What does that do for the ones that didn’t?

That’s one. AP is using Atlantic.

Why are you telling me? I already said it’s true.

Did Trump disparage veterans?

That is true, he has disparaged veterans

Even if this specific instance is in dispute, Trump has a history of disparaging veterans.

He also dodged the draft

Yes.

Yes.

Yes.

So did Biden, but that’s irrelevant.

Are we talking about Biden?

Sounds like the start of another thread

We are talking about dodging the draft. Specifically Presidential candidates who dodged the draft. Now.

A former senior administration official, who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak candidly, confirmed to The Washington Post that the president frequently made disparaging comments about veterans and soldiers missing in action, referring to them at times as “losers.”

In one account, the president told senior advisers that he didn’t understand why the U.S. government placed such value on finding soldiers missing in action because they had performed poorly and gotten caught and deserved what they got, according to a person familiar with the discussion.

Who are HIS sources?

We’ve been lied to about Trump by the media for 4 full years now.

“Sources”. ( spit )

Yes, he said that too.

What I referenced was in a report that came from a GOP led Senate commitee.

It is crazy how “fake news” has become the reflex to reality.

If AP can verify what the Atlantic reported, that is now two reports confirming Trump said these disgusting things.

Do you really think Trump said this or is that sarcasm? Apologies if you’re being sincere.

AP didn’t. They called the same “source”.

Of course he said it.

Not necessarily.

We just learned a few days ago that McGahn wanted Jared Kushner’s Security clearance downgraded in Feb 2018.

Unnamed sources are frequently used in reporting to protect the source. That’s why a proper news organization reaches out to additonal sources to verify what the first person said.

Either they name the source or shut up…it’s really that ■■■■■■■ simple.

Otherwise we can accuse Biden of fondling with secret service 12 year old girl. That’s what source told me.

They didn’t. I bet they didn’t reach out to anyone, I bet they were called.

But it doesn’t matter, he said it.

Either name em or it didn’t happen. Time to put up or shut up.
