The Trump administration pulled back the curtain on their Middle East Peace Plan Monday; unveiling a possible $50 billion investment in what the White House referred to as the “Deal of the Century.”
“The ‘Peace to Prosperity’ venture, which was rolled out over the weekend and is being officially proposed in Manama during a two-day workshop, seeks to raise about $50 billion. The plan offers ‘an ambitious, achievable vision and framework for a prosperous future for the Palestinian people and the region,’ according to a White House statement,” reports Fox News.
“The administration’s team — led by senior White House adviser Jared Kushner; Jason Greenblatt, U.S. envoy for international negotiations; and David Friedman, U.S. ambassador to Israel — has developed a detailed portfolio of projects to stimulate economic growth with the aim of doubling the Palestinian GDP and creating more than 1 million new jobs as well as reducing poverty and unemployment rates,” adds Fox.
The plan is being described as Middle East Marshall Plan; hoping to shore-up safety and security through economic investment.
The announcement comes less than one week after Iran abruptly shot-down a US drone plan operating in the region.
President Trump confirmed last Friday he called-off a retaliatory attack against Iran “10 minutes” before the mission; saying the operation was not “proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone.”

They are a much weakened nation today than at the beginning of my Presidency, when they were causing major problems throughout the Middle East. Now they are Bust!” tweeted the Commander-in-Chief.

We were cocked & loaded to retaliate last night on 3 different sights when I asked, how many will die. 150 people, sir, was the answer from a General. 10 minutes before the strike I stopped it, not proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone. I am in no hurry, our Military is rebuilt, new, and ready to go, by far the best in the world. Sanctions are biting & more added last night. Iran can NEVER have Nuclear Weapons, not against the USA, and not against the WORLD!” he added.

“A source had confirmed to Fox News earlier Friday morning that the administration made a last-minute decision to call off the retaliatory strikes against Iran. But until Trump’s tweets, few details about the aborted mission and the circumstances that led to the reversal were publicly available. And it remained unclear Friday whether strike plans have been definitively shelved,” reports Fox.
