Vermont Senator and possible 2020 presidential candidate Bernie Sanders reportedly injured himself in the shower Friday after colliding with a glass door; requiring multiple stitches following the incident.

“Sanders, 77, went to a walk-in clinic for examination and treatment after he cut his head on the edge of a glass shower door, campaign spokesperson Arianna Jones told reporters. The Vermont senator was able to continue on with his scheduled events after receiving the stitches,” reports Fox News.

Bernie Sanders cut his head on the edge of a shower door, received seven stitches, will continue with his schedule in South Carolina and Nevada, according to his campaign. Statement from an aide below:
