Anti-money laundering specialists at Deutsche Bank recommended in 2016 and 2017 that multiple transactions involving legal entities controlled by Donald J. Trump and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, be reported to a federal financial-crimes watchdog. But the Deutschland Bank executives chose to do nothing. Wasn’t Anthony Kennedy’s son one of those execs?
So banks have figured out over the years how people launder money and they asked their software programmers to look for specific transactions.
And transactions by our president and his son-in-law come up and this bank says it’s nothing. You know, the bank that has been accused of allowing money laundering forever.
This is the least surprising thing I’ll hear all day.
