That is true but it transcends politics. It’s not left or right, just wealthy powerful people looking out for their own interests.

Its like the hogs in congress, they dont give a crap about “political sides” they just want to keep the electorate polarized and angry so they can continue to ■■■■ over America in pursuit of wealth and power. Sure AOC or others may have entered congress with ideals but those soon go by the wayside when they can see the life they lead.

I eat steak when I can. But with prices like they are I usually do it once per month right after the bills are paid. Go to the meat market and get me some ribeyes to grill. With a side of shrimp.

Them Lockheed checks are nice.

I have too.

I have been eating a lot more plants in the past couple of years.

Been learning how to cook Indian food.

I figured I will trade fat for more flavor.

I need to learn how to cook chicken curry. Because that ■■■■ is awesome.

It’s actually not hard.

And you can easily make a very good vegan curry.

The mistake that people make is making these dishes with an expectation that it will taste like meat when it is a completely different thing.

I have had completely vegan Indian meals… no I didn’t cook it… that are just some of the most sublime and delicious things I have ever eaten.

It’s knowing what you are going to get isn’t meat allows you to adjust your experience.

BYD is a ChiCom company. They’re being built here in the US. I hope they go broke and I feel sorry for the US workers hired as tokens IMO.

They’re firetraps. These are BYD busses.

I saw plant based fish in Trader Joes today.

Why? We can farm fish.

There is a market for people who want to eat less meat but still feel that they are still eating meat.

I personally think that this is wrongheaded. I think that it doesn’t work that great and taste is sacrificed

No thanks. Farm raised fish grow in their own ■■■■■

BYD builds ■■■■ just like the rest of them do.

But I bet Americans would eat those 10,000 dollar cars up considering how insanely expensive modern cars here. And still catch on fire and burn to the ground sometimes. Or require you to take out a mortgage on your house to diagnose a minor electrical problem.

True but they can be good. Farm raised Mississippi catfish are delightful even though that is the single most disgusting acting fish on the planet. They’re bottom feeding carrion eaters. But they do taste good when cooked right.

Insurance companies will require a rider to cover a battery fire. The insurance will cost more than the value of these piles of tinder.
Good

Nothing like a fresh caught channel cat. :yum:

It’s about land.

When I was in Boy Scouts, one year our summer camp was on a lake in upstate NY in August. We canoed into our camp area, late in the evening and set up camp. Dinner was spam sandwiches. A couple of us put aside some spam and used it for fishing bait that night. We were catching little panfish right and left. They loved the spam. We were tossing back all the fish. Too small to eat. But damn it was a ton of fun. And then I hooked an 18 inch bullhead. I kept that one in a bucket and ate it for breakfast. Everyone else had powered eggs. I had fresh catfish. After the fishing we laid on the giant granite hill that was our beach, and we watched the meteor showers. The difference in sky clarity between metro NYC and upstate NY is dramatic. No light pollution. No pollution at all. Just stars and meteors. That week for me was the making of golden memories. First time I shot a shotgun. First mile swim. And that catfish.
