I wondered why she pulled her name. Aw poor Lara she thought she was entitled to the seat. I like the fact that DeSantis did not blindly go along with the Trump family desires.
She said she would have an exciting announcement in January. I’m betting she will serve in some capacity on the President’s team.
I believe she withdrew her name in order to take the pressure off of Desantes. I don’t see her dropping out of politics altogether and I see her landing on her feet.
DeSantis has performed along a path I respect in the political world I have so much disdain for.

Our founders envisioned a citizen legislature where by people would serve and then go back to private life with the knowledge they would be living with the rules and regulations they had implemented while in power.
Personally I’d be far more interested in those lives if people than decades long influence peddlers like the Biden’s or inside traders like Pelosi.
