What an idiot.

Pure political grandstanding on the dime of the taxpayer.

Lol.

Call me when you pull your head out of the sand. I’ll let you knw what you missed.

What is the penalty for a student not answering?

“May have”

It’s a survey, not an election.

Punching down

How would the survey attribute a political affiliation, solely, with the university?

If they aren’t, then the survey results would be even more pointless. It would be like a Facebook poll of “do you support Desantis?” Being sent to the “No CRT in Florida Schools” Facebook group.

hooray for more political grandstanding ■■■■■■■■ of no practical use at the cost of the taxpayer! Way better than an unconstitutional requirement to divulge your politics!

Sucker born every minute.

I can smell the fear. Shouldn’t have pushed so hard.

And there is no way that a bunch of college students won’t get together, coordinate, and somehow spike the survey😆

I think De Santis may envision both sides of an issue having equal opportunity to voice and hold to their opinions, and where this is impracticable, to exclude the topic. In politics this can work. Where only liberal views on sexuality are allowed to be voice, or only conservative, schools should exclude it.

Great, that already happens.

So no need to ask political affiliation?

No. It doesn’t happen. Is it allowed for students to argue in school that non-heterosexual behaviour is abnormal for the human species.

No, it doesn’t.

What a collectivist idea…

So the answer is to use the force of the government to compell people to reveal their private, political preferences

Why?

I understand what you are trying to say, but you have to come up with a better example.

On it’s face, this one is false.

Non-hetro behavior exists in the human species, therefore it is not abnormal for it. We have no other control group of the human species to compare to. Therefore, everything that happens in this one singular species is normal for it.

A better question to advance your argument that certain views are repressed in academic settings might be, can you argue non-hetro activities are immoral?

But as someone who went to a left leaning liberal arts school in the 80’s, the answer then and there was yes.

I haven’t seen anything about force. What’s the penalty for not answering?

Is it private in a public university? When it is being indoctrinated?

kendi perhaps

They should ask about religion too. After all, people have a right to know if their kids are going to school with a bunch of Mormon’s, right?
