When was the last time you were in a public school classroom?

Teacher wants phones gone, they’re gone. When a kid won’t put it away and off as required. I just page our school SO to come take care of it.

Read the words I’m typing, not the words you imagined I said.

Yeah and if they did that to my kid in this environment I would have him/her wired for audio/video the very next day and she/he would never know about it until he/she broke the law. Might want to look into how small cameras can be these days

That’s really just it most of these folks are old dudes with kids long graduated some of them “libs”

They have no clue what’s happening in elementary/middle schools outside of angry man telling them what to think.

Not really, I certainly haven’t shown up at any school board meetings, the parents and grandparents who still have kids in schools can take care of it. And if they don’t, that’s their problem, not mine, for now.

I never said overturning Roe will end abortion. I never even said Roe should be overturned.

Read the law.

No need, the teachers will say it loud and proud.

Of course they want them gone…Who would have thought otherwise. Teachers want no witnesses and no accountability.

Classrooms should be just like every other public building with cameras and voice recorders everywhere. You guys want the police to where cameras, why should teachers be any different.

Cameras really should be in the classrom capturing the teacher, blackboard, and sound. That way if a child doesnt get it, or is struggling to complete homework, they could go back to the lesson. Would expect to see the teachers union would squirm out of that though.

Lol, that’s cute. So you brag about helicopter parenting, but then support them breaking school/classroom rules that keep them on task instead of being distracted by having a phone out?

Amazing.

I don’t think you know how covert cameras operate. They can look like jewelry for instance, no distraction, turn it on and forget it.

No. We want kids on tasking and not snapping and playing mobile games while we’re trying to stick to the curriculae that people demand we stick to instead of spending hours a day trying to keep them off their phones.

Again, it’s very easy to tell who spends time to see what’s ACTUALLY happening in schools and who is letting angry media man get them worked up.

Its becoming more common than you think already. It saves the time of having to repeat lectures, helps kids who may be out for extended needs, or homebound students.

Whoever is filling your head with this nonsense appears to be very ignorant of the public education system at large.

Listen to how crazy this sounds:

Dont let your kids have a phone until 16

Use parental controls at home to monitor their content
Drive them to school so they wont be corrupted on the bus

Dont care that they would be on their phones in class not paying attention and would wire them up like an undercover police informant if they got their phone taken away for being on it instead of paying attention in class.

This is bizarre.

Why do you think they would need to record with both a phone and a hidden camera? I’d go with the latter. Bonus, rewatching school lessons becomes a viable punishment.

I think you missed the entire point. Or you’re trying to sidestep how asinine wire tapping your child because they got their phone taken up when they wouldn’t stay off of it during class is. That’s BONKERS.

Well since I never said that and that isn’t the reason I would wire them…

“We”?

It was said literally in response to me saying I would have the SO take it up because they wouldn’t stay off it in class and wouldn’t hand it over when told.

To which you responded

So you DON’T want kids on task, doing their work on the curricula that you demand teachers to stick to and nothing else?

What I said was, if you took away kids phones or prohibited them some people including myself would just wire their kids. I would go straight for wiring since as I already told you I didn’t permit them to have cell phones to begin with until they were long past the age we were discussing. Not to mention openly filming someone doing something nefarious is obviously not going to be permitted by the wrong doer.
