Such strong adjectives because different.

It isn’t. It’s not shocking that the “liberal” is limited by “disgusting and immoral.” Super duper liberal.

It was always obvious despite protestations.

It really is odd logic that says “if it’s different and strange” it’s beyond reproach.
Prog logic.

I didn’t say it’s beyond reproach. That’s twice in two days you assumed. Weird.

No, because it is disgusting and immoral.

I’m not “limited” in any way.

Naaa… your words… beyond derision.

Reproach is close enough to deride. Not much daylight between the two.

This is nowhere close to the top reason the GOP will clean up in the midterms despite all the efforts of the Culture War Crusaders to make it so.

GOP is going to win because of inflation, not because people are on board with a regression towards a Victorian cultural mindset, or even on board with most of their agenda.

If the GOP assumes so, they will be making the same mistake the Dems did after 2020.

The nation as a whole does not share this Purtian mindset.

As 2020 was a rejection of Trump, not an acceptance of Biden, so will the midterms be a rejection of Biden, not an acceptance of social conservatism.

Today’s right wing?

I agree…they want the children.

The generation that thinks LGBTQ is icky and America is always Star Spangled Awesome no matter what is dying off and they need to raise a whole new group to take their place.

And all those tax dollars just ripe for the picking by the for profit private schools…

Enjoy it . Free country. The Lawrence decision set you free. But you should leave the children out of your icky filth.

You and this time i mena you all aren’t being derisive you are being judgey. Everything you guys dislike about prog judginess is very much a part of your personalities.

The whole thing is you don’t care about authoritarianism as long as your side makes the rules.

Requiring that parents - not government officials in teaching positions - guide the morality of their children is not authoritarian. You are now off the rails in your defense of true prog authoritarianism. You are saying the opposite of truth.

That’s a pretty thin line. Having kids read the modest proposal may be considered immoral by some. Whats the diffeeence between Jane Eyre and a drag show … for a puritan or a prude…. This isn’t about morals. This is about you getting to decide what’s icky and what isn’t. Romeo and Juliet is about a 14 and what a 13 yo killing themselves. How immoral!

See you proved my point perfectly. This is your line you want your morality. That’s the authoritarianism of it all.

This whole need for you guys to define morality goes so well with the whole obsessions with critting.

You want the kids immeserated into being good little boys and girls. If you don’t act a certain way… you are immoral.

You are what you despise. It’s obvious.

I havent tried to impose my morality. I have said that is the parents’ decision. You - on the other hand - want to decide for the parents. You have regressed to lying now.

Not teaching it in public schools.

So do i. The only difference is that i and i mean i not we don’t want to immeserate except may be against bullies…. If those bullies are attacking kids for being different regardless of what the difference is.

I am not better. Never pretended to me. You collective do.

Sure. Who gets to draw the line
