Elementary schools are not teaching kids about homosexuality or converting them into some sort of sexual deviance.

What they are doing is accommodating kids who’s parents request accommodations due to their child’s stated gender.

They are also promoting inclusion, kindness and understanding of kids who do identify as gay, trans etc.

Some of the folks here disagree they want to discriminate based on sexual preferences.

All the years spent here…from evolution, to terrorism, to recently, the election, and now this…

if people informed on the subject don’t report the desired information, THEY are the problem. Not the conservative held beliefs.

I get it, some parents don’t want their kids around anything “gay” as if the mere mention is going to scramble their brains.

Conservatives have been fighting a losing battle against people that do not align with their view of what’s “normal” for a long long time.

They did this with people of color, interracial marriage, woman in the work place, ability to vote.

There is a long history of so called conservatives fighting to preserve their definition of “normal” at the cost of the “other”

The people that are running this show know that kids aren’t being taught about homosexuality that’s not what’s it about. No that message is for the easily influenced and it works.

Its about continuing to preserve the intolerance.

Also not true. They are doing that and much, much more. Nothing in the Florida law prevents or prohibits a teacher from calling Shane Shania if the boy feels like a woman-at the parents request.

You should read the law.
