Oh the irony. The Department of Government Efficiency - created so efficiently that it needs not just one but two people to head it up. Is this really going to be what the next 4 years are like? Welcome back to Trump chaos I guess

Soooo, let’s start with Elon Musk’s plan.

There are 428 Federal agencies. He wants to get rid of 329 of them.
Let’s just say he consiolidates them and the only thing he accomplishes (with that) is to fire
329 (non-union) agency heads, and
329 (non-union) vice agency heads, and
329 (non0union) agency diversity officers.

That is 987 agency bigwigs at $100,000/year each. ($98.7 million).
Well that’s not much.

To make it more salable (or put it into perspective) that is enough to offer each State University (almost) $2 million a year for scholarships, or $2 million a year for new computer labs or even a series of endowed professorships.
.
.
.
But I still think simply requiring fedeal employees to return to office will result in 100s of thousands if not millions of voluntary quits.

I now. I can practically hear the support dripping out of the libs keyboards on this thread.

■■■■■■■ can entire ATF all together and their 5,965 agents at about 80 grand a year for 500 million dollars.

There must be a purpose for all those people that isn’t about cops losing jobs,

Top part of list appears below
(NOTE: The federal pay period is 2 weeks so “4” indicates show up 4 days every 2 weeks.)

I didn’t say the “LIBs” supported it.

I said no one is gonna try to sabotage it.

Let me rephrase…no one SHOULD try to sabotage it.

Real change requires chaos.

I’m fond of Vivek’s notion of reduction in force layoffs for everyone with an odd numbered SSN.
The positive effects on Northern Virginia cannot be understated.

Let’s hope this works out better than DOGECOIN actually did.
