You all but called me a liar when I pointed out your mistake. Where’s the “acknowledgement” of that mistake?

I was serious when I said this:

We are finished discussing my perceived personal flaws. We have done that for two days. We are now moving on to discussions of your flaws. Fair enough?

Yes, you “acknowledged” your mistake and then turned around and did the same thing again about Muslims.

We are finished discussing my perceived personal flaws. We have done that for two days. We are now moving on to discussions of your flaws. Fair enough?

Feel free…I’m not as fragile as some.

So what.

Why did you call my accurate post “fake news” and say I made it up?

Fix that flaw.

The hundreds of tards at Charlottesville isn’t half of the Republican Party. The sudden move further left in the Democratic Party is happening fast and recent.

This year, 27% of Democrats said their sympathies lied with the Israel over the Palestinians in their conflict, while 25% said the Palestinians. The rest said both or neither. Just two years ago (when the Democrats adopted more pro-Palestinian positions in their plank), 43% of Democrats said their sympathies aligned with Israel compared with 29% who said the Palestinians.

Apparently not. Nor are we likely to, sorry.

It is extremely poor form to be calling out perceived flaws in others (calling them liars) while at the same time demnding to be above criticism

So…you believe any criticism of the country of Israel is automatically anti-semitic?

Not at all, and I believe one should be able to criticize Israel or any other country. I am just saying if one looks at what has been happening in the Labour Party in the U.K. one can see were it can lead.

Just like Steve King on the right, if that is allowed to grow it can get ugly fast. Same can be said of Omar and the women’s march leaders on the left.

It’s perhaps worth noting that, even leaving aside treatment of the Palestinians, in the period just prior to that the far right Israeli government decided to align itself 100% with the Republican party. Democratic party policy might have shifted eventually anyway but Netanyahu chose to make Israel a partisan issue and he may come to regret it.

Hmm, I’d say it was more the other way around. Obama himself without congressional approval gave $350,000 to Israel opposition to kick him out. Obama was against him. Perhaps it was Obama funding Hamas which seeks Israel’s destruction. Obama was all for the getting rid of Mubarak of Egypt and sent money and supported the radical Egyptian Brotherhood which sought the noncooperation with Israel and supported its destruction. Perhaps it was Obama sending 1.7 billion to Iran, which used it spread terrorism throughout the world, with their ultimate end, of Israels destruction. 400 million in cash basically for ransom, for a deal, which didn’t allow real, on the spot, no notice inspection of Iran’s nuclear facilities, and in the best outlook, accepts that Iran can get nuclear weapons, reversing years of no acceptance of Iran nuclear weapons. Perhaps in 2009, when there was a green revolution against its dictatorial leaders, Obama didn’t give one inkling of support, as it wanted to cozy up to its repressive leaders, which longstanding wants the destruction of Israel. In some cases Obama didn’t want to back in the UN, Israel as it fought back against attacks on its citizens. And in 30 years of promises of the 2 Bushes, Clinton, Obama to transfer its embassy to Jerusalem, it was only Trump who kept to his word on that.

The Democrats in their present form, are not Pro Israel. We may see an exodus of Jewish Dems from the party if the trend continues.
The Old Guard on the Left have given the tiller over to the new Young Radicals. Time will tell how radical that is, but right now we can say the Love for Israel is gone and those who Hate Israel are in charge. At least for now.
Hopefully the trend ends, God Elp us if they keep control.
