This is true.

That’s why I haven’t made any claims as to what “most Muslims” think or believe.

I cannot vouch for anybody on either side. I have never met any of them.

Are you playing gotcha with me? Rather than discuss the topic are you trying to expose all of my personal flaws? Is that what you find to be interesting topics for discussion? I will save you the trouble and freely admit that I am a very baaaad man.

The anti semetism on the left towards Israel goes way past just being anti-Zionism and pre dates Donald Trump. What we are seeing is today’s Democratic Party is starting to drift towards the Labour Party in the U.K. positions towards Israel.

They say and I am sure some mean it that it is just they are anti-Zionist but it turns into something different we’re it is anti-Jewish and many leaders in the Labour Party are either in hot water or have to resign over their remarks. When remarks like “Send all the Jews to America”

The former mayor of London had to quit the party, and the shadow minister Naz Shaw had this lovely comment.

“Solution for Israel-Palestine conflict - relocate Israel into United States”, with the comment “problem solved”.

The leader of the Labour Party (Corbyn) is plagued with any-semetism.

It can easily morph into something else.

The party that constantly rants about how a Jewish financier is secretly funding and orchestrating every single thing they think is going to destroy the country is in absolutely no position to be slinging accusations of antisemitism.

Have we at least got to the point where everyone can agree that the topic of this thread is outlandish hyperobole and each person should be judged by their own merits or shortcomings?

Someone should tell the guy who was Trump
Before Trump

https://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/lepage-democratic-partys-money-comes-from-jews-for-the-most-part

Can we all now agree that LePage is a racist idiot?

  1. That article is from 2016.

  2. It mentions numerous instances of republicans saying racially charged things, but only one (Pittenger) apologizing. This article actually undermines your point. This article would have been a wonderful cite for someone trying to argue republicans are almost never “paraded out to cry and beg forgiveness.”

This is just another example of Trump bringing more people into the Republican party.

Apparently Trump was watching “Fox and Friends” this morning. (Which isn’t problematic at all.) And he tweeted about a “Jexodus” from the Democratic party. This is all normal and fine.

Following a “Fox & Friends” interview with “Jexodus” activist Elizabeth Pipko, the president quoted Pipko in a tweet, writing that the Democratic Party doesn’t “care” about Jewish people in America.

“Jewish people are leaving the Democratic Party," Trump tweeted, quoting the conservative activist. "We saw a lot of anti Israel policies start under the Obama Administration, and it got worsts & worse. There is anti-Semitism in the Democratic Party. They don’t care about Israel or the Jewish people.”

I mean. I see what Trump and Republicans are trying to do here. A Democrat congress person (Omar) says something problematic and they are trying to capitalize on this and bring Jewish voters into the Republican party, or at the very least create some kind of division between Jews and the Democratic party.

But the problem is that there’s no finesse in what they are doing. It’s so transparent and awkward. They are using a sledge hammer to on a small nail. Like, calm down. Play to your strengths and don’t go overboard every time a Democrat does something dumb.

When you march side by side with those Nazis in opposition to removing that statue, you’re not a fine person. No fine person would look at that crowd and say, “you know, I’m still gonna hang out with those dudes.” There were absolutely NOT fine people on both sides. Fine people don’t find themselves on the side of a Nazi rally.

They cant help themselves plus if they try to capitalize on this they are huge hypocrits

The marchers had NAZI flags. Tell us about how any “good people” would march with them, seeing those flags?

Has he claimed to? Like you claimed to speak for Jews without being Jewish and now you claim to speak for Muslims…without being Muslim…

Projection by the party that thinks those marching and chanting “Jews will not replace us” have some good people.
Projection by the party that keeps dog whistling (((Soros))).

I acknowledged my mistake with the Jewish comment. For some reason you seem to keep ignoring this. Is there a reason? Your second point is simply a lie. I never at any point claimed to speak for Muslim. I merely believe what they tell us.

BTW. We are finished discussing my perceived personal flaws. We have done that for two days. We are now moving on to discussions of your flaws. Fair enough?

Holy crap, I just googled who that is and my morning got substantially better :fire: ooooof

He’s Republican, right?

Yep. He is a real piece of work.

when I protest and I see the stupid antifa people.

I remove myself from the protest quickly.
