The thing that floors me is how places like NYC protect the criminals and punish those who defend themselves. As they are a “woke” sanctuary city instead of filling the hotels with people who spend money in the community, they are filling them with people who take money from the community.

One of the kids in the extended family lives in NYC, she and her fiancé work there. They’re young and travel a bit and it seems like they are gone every month for days or weeks on end. During a conversation they told us what they pay for a walk up studio apartment per month. You could own a home out on LI for that kind of dough and commute into the city if that’s where your job is!
