That’s just it. Your idea of improving the country make my life worse. Just leave me and my life alone and that will make me happier. That would kill two birds with one stone, since happiness of the people seems to be a big part of your assessment as to what makes a country better.

So … You want to improve some people’s lives and degrade the lives of others. Do you have a list of people whose lives you will improve, or are you looking to just improve your own life and let everyone else’s lives fall where they may?

That’s a gross exaggeration, This is not the best of all possible worlds. It contains far too many progressives who think they know what’s best for the rest of us. Get rid of them and we can reassess the state of our world.
