Iā€™m talking about violent dehumanizing language. That was the context of his post. I wasnā€™t talking about an actual assassination attempt. No, here lately past couple of years thatā€™s mostly been a left wing thing in America.

The left calls the right a bunch of racist Nazi fascists and the right calls the left a bunch of godless Satan worshiping communists. In both cases neither side is right and itā€™s very dehumanizing.

Well it depends on how you define left versus right. In the American sense, not any time in recent decades. In Europe there was a few in the 20th century.

I think that comes down to how both view law and more importantly order.
