I was being catty when I used the word entitlement; generally because, these are great programs that for some reason people believe shouldn’t be extended to others, because they aren’t entitled to them (unlike themselves). The fact someone paid into a program for a long time is no reason to deny coverage to everyone else.
In regard to the other issue: I’m never going to be swindled into not supporting something that will benefit millions of Americans because “illegals!”. Not after living in absolute agony for weeks waiting on my punk ass insurance company to finally approve (after several denials) my root canals.
