What does that have to do with you?

Or the topic of this thread?

And from the other side of the mouth - “Trump controls the Republican Party!”

Partisan narratives like labor should be paid good wages?

I was trained on what to look for, and how to discourage it.
I was required to report to upper management on any organizing activity.

This was in the mid 80’s.

Horse feathers. And this thread isn’t about you or unions.

It’s about BIPOC making a move.

I haven’t blamed labor for anything. The real culprit is the Union Leadership which is very adept at killing the goose which lays the golden eggs.

The Democrat Party’s Revolutionary Leadership detests people being left free to mutually agree in their contracts and associations.

Real feathers.

I shall not mention unions again, in this thread.

The only seriously unionized group in this country is public service unions (35% union v 6% for civilian workers). Do you really suppose police feel supported by Democrats?

There is the first clue to your misunderstanding. You think the rank and file are to blindly be obedient to the union’s administrative body. Very akin the those who think a body of believers must be blindly obedient to a human earthly spiritual leader.

So the Democrat Party Leadership can confiscate those wages through confiscatory taxations?

The Democrat Party Leadership has been angry, stupid and obnoxious ever since the Republican Party Leadership freed democrat owned slaves and put the KKK out of business. ___ Author unknown

Of course I did. I told you my criteria and republicans didn’t meet it.

Union leadership is put there by the members of the union.

Wild to blame “fat cat” labor leaders who work to increase wages and benefits for workers getting the blame for outsourcing but not the corporations making record profits.

Wait…. What?

Man… I am still working to pay off that tax increase I got from the GOP.

But the GOP doesn’t care about and your taxes. That is why they made the individual part of the tax changes temporary and the corporate tax changes permanent.

It’s who they work for.

He does… 2 weeks before an election isn’t enough time to pass legislation or even discuss it.

Maybe if he proposed it… idk 2 years ago. We would know where republicans stand. Seems he has a problem with timing… first the healthcare plan… then reparations.

Getting back to the subject of the thread, here is another example of why democrats are leaving the Democrat Party Leadership:

“We often give enemies the means of our own destruction.” – Aesop. Witness the dangerous stranglehold the Chinese Communist Party now exercises over the production of our nation’s necessities.

Corporations are a lot less relevant to unions than the politicians in charge of the government that most union members work for. In cities or states they may get pensions that are extraordinary compared to most people, but it is the taxpayers that will be paying for that.
Let’s give them huge pensions, and I’ll be out of office when it comes due.

Motte and Bailey. Spending time and rank and file money to advocate for all sorts of issues not related to “on the job” issues across the locals. That is another good reason to ignore union leadership endorsement and advocacy for a political narrative. The poor performance and utter lunacy that is driving voters away from the Democrat party right now has been driving members from unions for decades.

If he controlled the party, then the Platinum Plan would’ve been passed at his behest.

You want it both ways now. Hate is a funny dance partner.

You blindly follow the Progressive line with unquestioning faith. So of course you don’t understand.
