Democrat health care plan

I waited three week for surgery.

There’s one very important thing you left out.

The complexity of medicine. I’ve read charts from 20-30 years ago. I’m amazed at how little they did back then.

Canada has private health insurance.

One factory I worked at had both card files and computer files for inventory. The cards were much easier to find out what happened and more accurate. Mandating electronic medical files under Obama care should be unconstitutional…

Kind of vague…

But I’ve heard that we don’t have long wait times here in the US compared to those nasty socialist systems abroad.

Yes… The more the govt controls health care the fewer people want to be doctors…

Doctor Shortages Explode Thanks To ObamaCare

Meh, plenty of foreign doctors to fill any gap. Plus, the AMA strictly regulates slots for medical schools. Perhaps we can get them to open up more slots/schools?

So umm… go back to essentially exactly what we had before the ACA? Well now thats totally brilliant.

Sounds good to me. Not sure that because we are rich we should takes other countries doctors…

Love me some modern day Luddites.

If you want digital records go for it… I’d rather have privacy.

What? Is everything you don’t like now unconstitutional?

It’s like that word has lost its meaning.

The 4th A gives me the right to privacy. Putting my medical records online violates that in my opinion.

They aren’t mutually exclusive. I’d rather have better coordinated care that increased quality, efficiency and effectiveness while decreasing costs.

Do you use online banking? Does that violate your privacy?

Unfortunately, the reasons for the long wait times for elective visits and procedures are pretty much the same - a shortage of doctors. In the US, non-elective, emergency and “high end” treatments (highly specialized surgery, cancer treatments) are still more obtainable and more quickly obtainable than in the UK, Western Europe and Canada. Also, in some countries with socialized medicine, the cutoff age for certain procedures is 55 or so, so it’s not a matter of 60 year olds waiting a long time for transplants, they just don’t qualify.

Are you saying that your medical records are not digital? If so, where the hell do you live.
All of my medical records have been digital for about 15 years in Arkansas and now Texas.
And to protect your privacy is why HIPAA laws are so strict.

The RWNJ’s don’t need no stinkin’ regulations.

In fact are dems passing any legislation or do they just whine about Trump all the time?
