I don’t think the left is against removing waste and or fraud. I just think they’re mad that Trump is trying to do that, and it’s popular. Their focus is on power, not what is best for the country.

So you think nothing they are cutting is waste? We’ll eventually find out, right? If all of these people they are firing doesn’t have some major negative impact, at the very least it is waste.
I’m sure they found some waste, I don’t believe their goal is to find “waste, fraud and abuse.” I think they want to purge the federal government while putting a nice slogan to it that’s hard to counter that they can say over and over again for pretty much anything. One particularly funny instance was at a White House press briefing when a reporter questioned one of the cuts and asked how it was waste fraud or abuse and Leavitt said it was all three.
They clearly hate themselves most of all, but they’re just used to lying all the time.

It’s not the end of the Dem party, of course. They’ll still keep (more than) 41 in the Senate (and closer to 45), and more than 210 Representatives in the House. They could put up Kamala Harris right now in a new presidential race and she would still pull 45-47% of the vote. No matter how bad the poll numbers are regarding the party, that same core of voters will still keep that much of the same Dems in office. They may not be happy with it, but they’ll keep their Dems like a treasured collection of animal scat.

That is what the most shocking to me. They are delusional. Some of it i get because its the old playbook of lets just drop this subject of trans for now and then revisit once they repackage it as some other catastrophe. So they never really change they just think waiting it out will work. I dont think it will this time. Democrats dont realize that. I say that as fact because look who they are touting right now.
