The Democratic candidate for Vermont Governor left voters throughout the state scratching their heads Thursday, publicly admitting “I’m not sure I even know what socialism is” when pressed on the radical worldview.
Christine Hallquist -the nation’s first transgender candidate to win a major party’s nomination for governor- was speaking with CNN when asked on whether “capitalism” or “socialism” offers the best path forward for American prosperity.
“I’m not sure I even know what socialism is. So I just don’t have the background to answer that question,” said Hallquist.
