Not true. Anybody who wants to wear a mask is free to do so.

Public schools aren’t homes.

I’ve witnessed it first-hand for the last year and a half: little kids—again, from my observation of lots of them—are basically fine with masks. No one was more surprised than I was. Much less fussy and cranky about it than adults.

We didn’t always have ac in schools.

Okay. Act daft because the engineering can’t have the same effect.

Good grief. I used to go to school without air conditioning. Every classroom had windows for cross ventilation.

Asymptomatic spread in a school setting is almost nonexistent.

the first is an unfounded opinion not tested for, scientifically irrelevant,

the second is clear, masking children in school does not work.

We’re not opening windows when its 100+ degree heat index outside. No need to insult me because that didn’t cross your mind.

And no one is going to pony up to pay for schools to receive major structural renovations needed to cram hundreds/thousands of kids into modern school buildings with better ventilation without AC.

If you dont want to deal the realities of today…2021…and want to daydream about things that would require MAJOR renovations to thousands of school bulldings across the country, and would take decades, and not address the problem TODAY, that’s your business.

It wasn’t a revelation to me, but apparently needed to be explained.
